Lanique HallShow me what’s broken

About

I am Lanique Hall.

I did not deliberately set out to become an operations person. It happened because I kept being the one people brought difficult things to. If something was broken, ambiguous, politically awkward, commercially important or apparently impossible, I was drawn towards it rather than away from it.

Over nearly two decades, that pattern repeated enough times that it became a reputation. Give it to Lanique. Not because I had all the answers, but because I was comfortable sitting with a problem nobody had structured yet, long enough to actually understand it.

I started inside recruitment, working the operational side of candidate journeys, client requirements, compliance and fulfilment. From there I moved into the workforce technology used to run those operations at scale, then into customer operations and enterprise delivery, and eventually into senior global operations leadership.

What ties all of it together is curiosity about why something is broken, not just that it is. I ask uncomfortable questions early, because they are cheaper to ask before a process is built than after. I am comfortable with ambiguity, quick to learn a new domain, and I hold a high bar for what counts as actually solved, not just quieter for now.

I am also direct. I would rather tell you the process shouldn’t exist than sell you the automation that keeps it alive.

Now I do this independently, for businesses that need someone who can see the whole system, not just the department they were asked to look at.

I am based in Ratby, Leicestershire.
